This summer we are very excited to welcome back Roxanne Evans Stout for this all-inclusive, mentoring focused workshop, including field trips to Canyon Road and the Folk Art Museum!

Roxanne is a well-loved published author and international tutor and instructor, with inspiring workshops in gorgeous locations and online.Come and be enchanted when you join Roxanne for a new type of retreat - where you will work independently on creations that are calling to you to, and with her guidance, take your art to a new level.

This workshop is not a step-by-step tutorial style class, but instead individualized into what is best for YOU. Whether you are working on stand-alone paintings or collages, artist books or assemblages I will help your take your work to the next level, and be confident an inspired in by your own pathway and dreams.

Roxanne will be your creative muse and mentor, as you become more yourself. With individualized feedback, attention and guidance, I will help you know your own path, help you to be true to your own creativity, and to experiment and grow. Studio Sanctuaries is  a one week long retreat, with mentoring and one on one guidance with Roxanne. Please bring both works that are completed and works that may be unfinished, as well the the surfaces you would like to work on during your studio times.

Whether you are working on stand-alone paintings or collages, artist books or assemblages I will help your take your work to the next level, and be confident an inspired in by your own pathway and dreams.

You'll have time to work in your private studio each day, have one-on-one mentoring sessions with Roxanne,  group critiques and discussions, and field trips exploring Santa Fe's incredible art and food scene. You'll make new artist friends, explore our favorite art galleries and interesting places, and gain a new found confidence and enthusiasm in your work and practice.

This program is limited to 8 artists, with only 2 artists per studio, and includes meals, snacks and beverages for all, and 24/7 access to studios and common areas. You can stay onsite in one of our four artist rooms (book below), or nearby at Bobcat Inn  where we’ll pick you up in the morning, and drop you off at night. No need to rent a car!
