Rooted in the rich graphic traditions of Latin American printmaking, Pavel Acevedo (Mexico) and Carlos Barberena (Nicaragua) use relief carving, woodcut, and linocut techniques as powerful vehicles for social commentary. Tinta & Frontera brings together works that interrogate the physical and psychological realities of geopolitical borders, the complexities of migration, and the ongoing struggle for Latino and Hispanic civil rights in the United States.

I'd say this is THE gallery to see in Santa Fe.
And those who have the honor of staying here for a residency will be blown away at the accomodations and atmosphere. Jen and Todd have created a serious destination gallery in a peaceful jaunt just ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe.
