You are welcome to visit our local grocery (2 minutes away) to pick up food and store in the shared kitchen or in your room. Twenty minutes away in Santa Fe there is Trader Joes, Natural Market, Whole Foods and several grocery stores. Sunflower and Hummingbird have kitchenettes. Raven has an office size fridge, Keurig coffee and microwave. Art House has a full kitchen. In our facility we have a shared kitchen space for all resident artists to use. Nearby Shopping, Dining & Farmer’s Market (2 minutes)
There are two shopping centers within a 2 minute drive of our facility: The Agora and La Tienda. The local grocery store is located at the Agora, and there are weekly markets at La Tienda. Checkout their websites for a directory, events, and directions.
Day Spas, Soaks & Yoga (20-30 minutes)
Make sure not to miss Ten Thousand Waves, a Japanese inspired spa and restaurant in the hills outside Santa Fe. Ojo Santa Fe offers dining, spa services and soaks, and Body in Santa Fe offers drop-in yoga and spa services.
Lamy (5-7 minutes)
Lamy, an historic western town with train depot and saloon has a slogan of “Where the pavement ends, and the west begins”. Explore this tiny town that looks like a movie set, and only 5-7 minutes away. Enjoy Legal Tender Saloon & Eating House, Sky Railway and Nuckoll’s Brewing.

Cerrillos & Madrid (day trip, 60 minutes)
You may feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you go to Cerrillos, a small town on the Turquoise Trail. Check out The Blackbird Saloon for lunch, buy some turquoise at the shops, and then drive over to Madrid, about 5-minutes down the road, to see New Mexico’s funkiest art town, with galleries, shops, bars and dining.
Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, and the Georgia O’Keeffe House & Studio (day trip, 60-90 minutes)
Worth a day trip! Make sure not to miss this adventure to Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch. This is where Georgia O’Keeffe lived and worked, and they offer a tour of her home and studio. Not to be missed … and make reservations!
Taos (day trip, 90 minutes)
A beautiful drive through the mountains takes you to the mountain town of Taos, with dozens of galleries, restaurants, bars and events.
