Artists in Residence can have one piece curated into an upcoming Jen Tough Gallery exhibition in our main/lower gallery, an 800 sq ft space with 12’ ceilings (shown in photos).
The selected piece may be from work created during your residency, or it can be selected from earlier work, or work you created shortly after your residency.
We will provide Artists in Residence the ability to submit 3 works for consideration via our online submission portal after their residency is completed. The artist can then select three works to submit, and Jen Tough will select one of those works if one wasn’t already chosen during the residency.
The exhibition will be within the next year of the artist’s residency, and have an opening reception with the public invited to attend.
Work will be exhibited in the gallery for at least one month.
We will try to time your exhibition for six months to one year from your residency date so you can come back to Santa Fe for the opening reception.
There is a standard 50% commission split for all gallery sales.
Artist is responsible for shipping work to and from gallery. All work is insured for full value upon our receipt.
A gallery consignment agreement will be provided prior to exhibition.
