“Greed and Want (Deadening Souls)”
The orb dispenses untold riches.
“Greed” - The soulless man puppet juggles the riches to himself, while small broken pieces drift towards and into the dying creature. Unbeknownst to the man puppet, a storm looms above. It threatens destruction.
“Want” - a double entendre. The dying creature wants the riches too. It suffers from hunger and want. What happens if it gets them? Or will the storm destroy them both first?

M. Paul creates paintings which are allegories and metaphors telling real life stories. M. Paul's primary medium is acrylic with mixed media elements which incorporate kozo, gampi and/or other natural fiber papers imported from Japan.
