Rebecca Katz, Immersive Glow
Immersive Glow Acrylic on Belgian linen, 36"x36"x2", 2024 $3000.00
Part of the June-July 2025 Resident Artist Exhibition
Immersive Glow was born from the refracted light and endless skies of Santa Fe during my fall 2024 retreat. This atmospheric skyscape is a meditation on light, space, and presence—a visual deep breath wrapped in color. I painted it to hold that quiet moment when the sky seems to expand and everything softens. Layer upon layer of luminous tones mirror the shifting desert light, blending saturation with stillness. It’s both a window and a mirror, capturing the landscape outside and the clarity within.
